Coachella – Petition Started To Prevent Festival From Being Cancelled Amid Coronavirus Scare
The highly contagious coronavirus, reportedly stemming from countries in China, has already killed thousands according to reports. Medical professionals are urging people to vigorously wash their hands in hopes of keeping it from spreading further, but many are taking extreme measures to stay health. Celebrities like Summer Walker are drowning themselves in protective garb while in the airport.

Meanwhile, Mariah Carey is postponing her Hawaii visit to stay healthy, and Lebron James wants the NBA to keep games going.

However, more extensive measures – such as the cancellation of this year’s SXSW Music Festival – are shocking fans. City officials in Austin believe that the large crowd the festival attracts make concertgoers an easy target for the virus.

But one fan is hoping this won’t be the case with the coveted Coachella Music Festival. A Change.Org petition was created in hopes of protecting their ticket-holding status.

Should Coachella be allowed to proceed during the coronavirus outbreak? Let us know what you think in the comments.
