Rihanna’s Foundation Donates $5 Million For Coronavirus Relief
Rihanna doesn’t say much about her philanthropic efforts, but this one is worth talking about.
The singer and Fenty’s founder’s organization, Clara Lionel Foundation, announced that it’s donating $5 million to a handful of organizations, as well as Barbados. A tweet from the charity says the hefty donation is
“to prepare communities w/ critical protective gear, medical supplies, equipment and access to food across multiple regions.”

The donation comes in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Jay-Z’s company, Roc Nation, applauded the move on Instagram.

Her donation comes shortly after rapper Kanye West reportedly donated to a Christian organization, L.A. Dream Center, amid the coronavirus. The details of the donation haven’t been reported.

The CEO, Matthew Barnett, said according to KIIS 102.7,
“Kanye is involved in social causes in his hometown of Chicago, as well as Los Angeles, and wanted to help people out during this challenging time. The Dream Center continues to feed the students of Los Angeles and is the calm in the chaos for many Angelenos.”
