Kanye West Donates To L.A. Christian Outreach Organization Amid Coronavirus
Kanye West is staying quiet amid the coronavirus pandemic, but he’s certainly doing his part to help out.
The rapper is said to have donated to a faith-based nonprofit organization in Los Angeles, L.A. Dream Center.
The organization posted the news on its Instagram after it made headlines, and thanked Kanye West in the caption that reads,
“THIS JUST IN: Thank you Kanye West for your generosity!!!”

Based on its website, the L.A. Dream Center’s mission is to:
“connect broken people to a community of support by providing free resources and services that address immediate and long-term needs in the areas of homelessness, hunger, poverty, addiction, abuse, education and human trafficking.”
It’s been a staple in its neighborhood with its reactions to those impacted by the coronavirus.
Kanye West hasn’t publicly spoken out about the donation, but the organization’s CEO Matthew Barnett said of the generous gift, according to 102.7 KIIS FM.
“Kanye is involved in social causes in his hometown of Chicago, as well as Los Angeles, and wanted to help people out during this challenging time. The Dream Center continues to feed the students of Los Angeles and is the calm in the chaos for many Angelenos.”
He added,
“We are indebted to Kanye for even thinking about us and with his help, we will be able to serve tens of thousands of meals.”
West’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, was also said to be a supporter of the organization.
