Cardi B On Senators Being Caught Selling Stocks Before Stock Market Crash: I Ain’t Mad At ‘Em!

Cardi B has no issues with senators who were allegedly caught selling stocks just ahead of the crash of the stock market. The financial tumble is just one of the factors during the fallout of the coronavirus pandemic. It was previously reported via MarketWatch that two Republican senators, Richard Burr from North Carolin and from Georgia, allegedly practiced insider trading when they not only allegedly sold stocks but reportedly purchased shares for a company as well. They’ve denied any wrongdoing, but many have demanded them to resign.

And Grammy-Award winning rapper Cardi B isn’t one of those people.

She shared her thoughts on

“There has been some senates that are in real hot water because they got caught selling they stocks months before this epidemic has hit America. They have been in hot water, people been on they a**, people been chewing them up, and let me tell you something. I ain’t mad at ’em!”

She then explained,

“You wanna know why I ain’t mad at ’em? Because it’s like, if you stay ready you don’t gotta get ready.”

Still, she added that she’s not one to defend politicians.

“Now one thing I don’t do, I do not… I’m not like a government defenders and s*** like that. I don’t believe in none of these motherf***ers. But at the end of the day, I ain’t mad at ’em. You wanna know why I ain’t mad at ’em? Cause this s*** right here, motherf***ers know that this s*** been going on. This s*** been going on in China fora hot minute. So, they knew that if this s*** hits America, s*** was gonna get real.”
