Two major ABC daytime talk shows are seeing some changes behind-the-scenes. And notable executive producer Candi Carter is at the center of it.
Candi Carter joined long-running talk show “The View” ahead of its 20th season, becoming its first African American EP since its inception in 1997, according to reports.
Now, she’s making another change as she’s heading to new daytime talk show “The Tamron Hall Show” just before its sophomore season.
Whoopi Goldberg confirmed the news on “The View” Friday (March 20). She was broadcasting from her home in New Jersey as she practices social distancing amid the coronavirus. She said,
“Say goodbye and congratulations to one of our executive producers, Candi Carter… She brought a spirit, an energy, and all that kind of stuff. It’s been fun with her. Not too much fun, but it’s been good, and we’ll miss her. But not too much, because she’s only gonna be next door as the new EP of ‘The Tamron Hall Show.'”
Candi Carter also joined Whoopi Goldberg on camera to say her goodbyes.
