Tiny Says T.I. Had No “Malicious Ill Intent” W/ Daughter’s Virginity Controversy

T.I. & Deyjah Harris To ‘Go Through Some Things’ On Reality Show After Virginity Controversy, Tiny Says
Its’ been a few months since the controversy of T.I. and his daughter Deyjah Harris erupted and it seems things are finally getting back to normal between the two. Back in November 2019, The 39-year- old rapper appeared on an episode of the “Ladies Like Us” Podcast and revealed that he still went to the gynecologist with 18-year-old daughter Deyjah Harris to makes sure that her hymen is still intact and that she is still a virgin. This became a huge controversy and got a lot of people talking, mainly criticizing T.I. and his parenting style. His wife, singer, Tameka “Tiny” Harris (44), recently gave an update on the current status of T.I. and Deyjah ‘s father- daughter relationship.

When asked about the upcoming season of “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle” and what we can expect to see, she had this to say,
“You’re gonna see Tip going through some things with Deyjah. That is one of the biggest things our family had to deal with this season. It was a big deal. Their relationship is definitely much better now because Deyjah is a very bright girl. Her dad just wants to love on her, so any time he’s around her, he just can’t stop loving on her. They’ve been doing really good.”
She continued,
“There’s a lot of conversation. A lot of talking, a lot of back-and-forth trying to figure out where the biggest problem was. And, understanding how she feels, where he was coming from and what he actually meant by whatever he said. There was no malicious ill intent in his reason for speaking on it. So, understanding that and her knowing that [helped] bridge the gap.”
A few weeks after the controversy hit social media, T.I and wife Tiny appeared on an episode of “Red Table Talk” with Jada Pinkett Smith and her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris to further discuss the incident.
T.I. stated,
“Let me go set this record straight. Never said I was in any exam room. That is an assumption. That is a falsity. I never said it was being done present day, as an 18-year-old. ‘Cause she was 15 and 16 years old at the time. And I never said that her mother wasn’t present. Her mother was right there, too.”

In the interview, he later expressed that the controversy has made him more careful about discussing Dejah’s personal life. The rapper issued a public apology to his daughter,
“She did have a problem with me talking about it, however. And I am incredibly apologetic to her for that…to you, sweet baby Deyjah- not to any of these other strangers and any of these weirdos, who just kinda toss lies around for fun. She understands my intentions, and she knows who I am. She knows who I’ve always been.”
