Rapper Fred The Godson’s Wife Mourns His Passing: You Were Supposed To Come Back To Me
Update #2 (April 27th): LeAnn Jemmott, the wife of late rapper Fred The Godson has grieved his passing on social media just days after he died from COVID-19. She shared a photo of them together on Instagram Sunday (April 26th) and wrote the heartbreaking caption:
“Baby I don’t know what to say…. just tears upon tears upon tears… you was supposed to come back to me”

She followed it up with a series of tributes and memories.





She also changed her Instagram profile picture to a snapshot of Fred the Godson with a golden halo.
Her bio now reads,
“RIP Baby I love you for Life”

Original Story: Very sad news. Fred The Godson has reportedly died from coronavirus. He was 35. News of his rumored passing began to circulate today (April 23rd).
Earlier this month, the South Bronx rapper revealed that he had the virus on social media.
On April 6th, he shared a photo of himself in the hospital writing:
I’m in here wit this Corvus 19 shit! Please keep me in y’all prayers!!!!
Fred’s wife posted an inspirational message on April 15th.
French Montana, who was close with Fred, shared his condolences on social media.
