Michelle Obama Teams Up w/ Babyface & Teddy Riley To Get People Registered To Vote
Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee for President, recently said that he would pick former First Lady Michelle Obama as his vice presidential candidate “in a heartbeat” if he thought she would take the job. While she is reportedly not interested in returning to the White House, Michelle Obama is teaming with R&B legends Teddy Riley and Babyface to get people out to vote. The partnership was announced on Instagram in the post below.
“We know you had a lot to say about the #TeddyvsBabyface battle Monday night. But if you want your voice heard, you have to register and vote in every election. @babyface and I are teaming up with @MichelleObama and @WhenWeAllVote”
The non-profit organization ‘When We All Vote’, stresses the importance of every single election. On the heels of the legendary Verzuz battle between Teddy Riley and Babyface, the challenge is to make sure the 4 million viewers are registered to vote. Since 2018, the nonpartisan ‘When We All Vote’ has been increasing election participation by harnessing grassroots energy through strategic partnerships.
Instagram announced the record-breaking success of the Teddy Riley vs Babyface battle. Michelle Obama was one of the many celebrities that witnessed the quarantine jam session.
