Monica Explains Her Dream Man: I Still Want You To Open The Door, A 25-Year-Old Would Turn Me Into A Head-Buster Again!

Singer Monica is still healing fresh wounds from her divorce from her ex-husband, former NBA baller Shannon Brown. But in the meantime, Monica and her longtime friend – “Friends & Family Hustle” castmate Tameka “Tiny” Harris – talked in front of their fans on Instagram Live, digging into the subject of love. She shared what she’s looking for in her next partner:

“I acknowledge that I do need a lot of attention, but I give a lot…I need an old-school man in the sense that- you can call me hood, you can call me whatever you wanna call me. At the end of the day, I need somebody that’s still a gentleman. That’s why I work so hard with the boys to be gentlemen. I still want you to open the door! I still want you to pull up and pick me up sometimes! I still want you to play my favorite song- I still like all that!”

Tiny Harris then gave her two cents of what type of man she thinks her longtime friend needs:

“Tiny: You need a very hip, thuugish- he gotta be a little street or you ain’t gon like him!

Monica: Really?

Tiny: You ain’t gon’ really dig him! He gotta know shome sh*t. He gotta have some knowledge of how to get some money, how to hustle- you know what I’m sayin’?

Monica: ‘Cause you know I’m a hustler…somebody said, ‘An old-school, forty-ish gangster.’ I would say 32 and up.

Tiny: I got a lot of older friends that want these young men! What’s up with that?”

Tiny says women should beware of younger, more inexperienced men:

“Tiny: You already know a 25-year-old, 30-year-old man really don’t know what they want. It’s too much in the pickings for a young man like that- especially if he getting him a little money.

Monica: A 25-year-old would turn me into a head-buster again!”

But Tiny’s husband, Grammy Award-winning rapper/podcaster T.I. says that all Tiny focuses on is a man’s financial status when she hooks her single friends up. T.I. told Monica:

“T.I.: She ain’t finna do nothing but bring you a bunch of rich people! That’s all she care about – just rich people! That’s all she care about is money! We done seen her taste!

Monica: Why don’t you send me on a blind date?

Tiny: I’m all for that, and I’m gon’ help him, ’cause I know what you need!”
