Rihanna Donating To COVID-19 Relief Efforts, Giving Back To Homeless & Foster Kids In Detroit & Flint
Rihanna continues to give back to the communities most impacted by the current coronavirus pandemic. Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation teamed up with Twitter founder Jack Dorsey’s foundation, The David Rockefeller Foundation, Lyft, and Detroit native Big Sean’s foundation Sean Anderson Org, as well as the Stadler family to donate a combined $3.2 million in COVID-19 response grants. The donation will be distributed to Flint and Detroit, Michigan as well as other cities in the United States.

The official statement from the Clara Lionel Foundation states,
“Today we’re standing with Detroit and Flint and national organizations in the United States as they respond to COVID-19 with support for food and water access, rental assistance, bail relief, domestic violence survivors, homeless people, foster children, immigrants, and refugees.”

This latest announcement from the Clara Lionel Foundation is amidst a series of donations that Rihanna has contributed to ever since the coronavirus pandemic hit the shores of the United States.

So far Rihanna has teamed up with celebs like Jay Z, Big Sean, Jack Dorsey, and others to donate to coronavirus initiatives in New Orleans and Los Angeles. She’s donated money for public schools, immigration organizations, protective gear for New York health care professionals, and for initiatives in her home country of Barbados and other nations.
