Keke Palmer On 2020 Elections: I Don’t Like Any Of The Candidates
Keke Palmer has been actively supporting the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement, including sharing valuable information on her platforms and marching with peaceful protesters.
In one of her most recent Instagram posts, the childhood actress, singer, and “Strahan, Sara, & Keke” co-host shares her opinion on the current candidates for the upcoming 2020 elections.
“I don’t like any of the candidates. Let me pose this question…If you are on an island and you are starving and you have a few great options for food…are you going to choose the best out of the few “okay” options you have, the one that aligns the most with your appetite, or are you going to starve to death and die? Up to you, just asking.”

She concludes the post with the caption,
“I once thought voting was useless. But now I’m STARVING STARVING. ITS A FAMINE IN THIS B*TCH…”
Keke Palmer has used her platform to speak out against President Trump and his ongoing deterrent to peaceful protesters all over the country.

During a peaceful demonstration in the streets of Los Angeles, California recently, Keke Palmer took the opportunity to speak to some of the National guards that were presented by President Trump’s orders.
You have a president talking about the Second Amendment as a use for people to come out here and use firearms against the people protesting. We have a president that’s trying to incite a race war, and when the borders are closed. We can’t leave. You have people in here that need your help.

Keke later asks the National Guards to march with her and the protesters, in which they refused, however, opting to kneel with them instead. Keke replied,
“That’s not enough.”
She later expressed in an op-ed that she’s been
“waiting for a revolution her entire life.”
She opened up about her experience with the National Guards and called their kneeling a “mockery,” further explaining that it was the kneeling on George Floyd’s neck that ultimately killed him.
She added,
“Now we see police officers kneeling and then, moments later, attacking peaceful protesters. At this point, the kneeling has no meaning.”
