Eminem Names His Greatest Rappers Of All Time, List Includes Lil Wayne, Tupac & Jay-Z
Eminem, born Marshall Mathers, responded to a tweet from a music fan on his Twitter Friday (June 13th), and said who he states are his greatest artists of all time. The account @NoLifeShaq shared a link to a Youtube video entitled,
“DM’ing 30 Rappers ASKING “Who is the GREATEST RAPPER of ALL-TIME!
The video, with more than 100,000 views mentions asking several rappers’ their choices.
Eminem responded directly to the post with his list.
For me, in no particular order… Toss up between Wayne, pac, Royce, jay, redman, treach, g. rap, biggie & king crook….

Eminem laters adds more to his list:
“Plus redman, LL, nas, Joyner, Kendrick, Cole, Andre, Rakim, Kane…“

Last Month, Eminem said Tupac Shakur was the greatest songwriter of all-time in his eyes. During a taping of the Shade45 radio special called ‘Music To Be Quarantined By,’ Eminem named Tupac, stating,
This next song is from an artist who I feel like might be the greatest songwriter of all time.
Eminem further asserts his claims by defending Pac’s rap skills and the ability to switch from hardcore rap to heartfelt lyrics.
Debate what you want about MC skills and all that, because he had that too. This is one of them songs by Tupac that, to me, he was showing you, ‘I can write heartfelt sh*t and I can write lyrical, crazy sh*t too.’
