ViacomCBS Ends Relationship With “Love & Hip Hop” And “Black Ink Crew” Producer Big Fish Entertainment
ViacomCBS has decided to part ways with Big Fish Entertainment, the company that brings you VH1’s Love And Hip Hop and Black Ink Crew franchises.

A statement from Viacom reads,
“We have decided to end our relationship with Big Fish Entertainment and will be producing our shows in house at this time.”
The statement also says,
“We thank Big Fish for their past contributions and wish them the best.”

According to reports, VH1 announced in July 2019 that Big Fish would take over production of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood; the company subsequently took control of the three other shows in the franchise as well. Eastern TV produced earlier seasons. Big Fish has produced Black Ink Crew and its spinoffs since the show’s beginning in 2013.

In September 2018, TheJasmineBRAND reported that VH1 removed Eastern TV, the production company that produced Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.

Big Fish Entertainment also produces Live PD which was recently canceled by A&E amid erupting protests over police killings and brutalities within black communities in the wake of George Floyd being killed in Minneapolis, MN over Memorial Day weekend.
