Colin Kaepernick Reportedly Receiving ‘Zero Interest’ From Teams To Play In Upcoming NFL Season
Colin Kaepernick’s peaceful protest sparked a national conversation and his reasons have even proven valid by many, but, unfortunately, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback still has no team to play on for the upcoming season.

Just months after NFL insider Ian Rapoport noted that there appeared to be more interest in Colin Kaepernick than there had been in a long time. But new reports claim that the interest is “fake”.

Sports journalist Mike Florio wrote that the alleged ‘fake interest’ sparked after the death of George Floyd, which led to civil unrest.
“Per a source with knowledge of the situation, there was some ‘fake’ interest expressed immediately after [George] Floyd’s death, seemingly out of guilt. There has been zero interest expressed as to Kaepernick ‘in months.'”
Earlier this year reports that the NFL wanted to work with Colin Kaepernick circulated upon the league’s announcement of donating $250 million to fight racism.
In June, sources familiar with the league’s program said it would be willing to work with the alleged blackballed former quarterback.
As previously reported, commissioner Roger Goodell acknowledged that the NFL should have listened to the league’s players earlier with regard to social injustices. The NFL has painted “End racism” and “It takes all of us” in the end zones of every stadium this season. In addition, players can choose from the phrases “Stop hate,” “It takes all of us,” “End racism,” or “Black Lives Matter” to be displayed on their helmets and/or team hats.
