‘Cheer’ Star Jerry Harris Admits To Sexually Assaulting 15-Year-Old Boy, Could Face 15 To 30 Years In Jail

In an ongoing FBI investigation, Netflix “Cheer” star, Jerry Harris (born Jeremiah Harris) has found himself in trouble after reportedly admitting to targeting as many as 10 underage boys and sexually assaulting one 15-year-old in a bathroom at a public event, reportedly

“attended by other adults in the cheer community.”

As previously reported, 14-year-old twin brothers, Charlie and Sam said Jerry Harris allegedly started harassing them when they were 13 and he was 19. The alleged incidents, which took place for more than a year, happened online and in person at cheer events.

The investigation has shed light on more incidents because according to a court filing on Tuesday Oct. 13, Harris

“exploited and violated at least 10 minor boys by repeatedly requesting the boys sent him sexually explicit images of themselves.”

The court filing which described the cheerleader’s behavior as “habitual, persistent, obsessive course of conduct,” also claims,

“Harris exhibits all the signs of a serial child predator and unless and until he receives significant mental health sex offender treatment, he will remain a danger to any child he encounters, either online or in person.”

According to prosecutors, Jerry Harris has been accused of using “guilt, threats and money” to reportedly persuade boys to

“engage in sexually explicit activity which Harris would often times record and masturbate to.” 

The court filing has also requested Harris be detained pending trial.  If convicted, he faces 15 to 30 years in prison.
