Adele Says She’s A ‘Single Cat Lady’ Amid Rumors She’s Dating Skepta

Update #2 (Oct. 29th): Adele is clearing the air as reports that she’s getting closer to rapper Skepta made headlines recently.

She took to Instagram to speak on her recent appearance on Saturday Night Live and threw in the fact that she’s single in the caption.

She wrote:

“Had the best time on SNL! Thank you to the most wonderful cast, crew, writers and producers. What a sublime bunch of people you are. Lorne thank you for believing in me! Lindsay my sister for life, Maya my comedy and Mama hero! Plus the so up for it audiences at both the dress rehearsal and live show! I did it for the joy of it and I hope you got some from it too!”

She continued:

“Good luck with the election America I love you so much. Look after each other and go easy on yourselves.”

She ended by describing herself as a “single cat lady” and wrote:

“Happy Halloween! I’m going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am! Peace out til next year”

Original Story (Oct. 28th): It seems like Adele is truly living her best life.  The singer, who recently returned to host Saturday Night Live and candidly joked about her love life, has been ‘having fun,’ with her rumored boo, rapper, Skepta (born Joseph Junior Adenuga, Jr.) according to a source.

Reports began to circulate about the rumored couple last year after the powerhouse singer divorced from her ex-husband, Simon Konecki.

The pair was allegedly seen last month having a wild night out in east London.  According to the source,

‘Things have been heating up. They run in the same circles in London, and she’s having fun.’ 

After being spotted at Skepta’s birthday party in September last year, another source spoke to The Sun and stated,

“Adele and Skepta have been there for each other a lot after both their relationships split up. They have a close bond and there’s definitely a special connection. They’re spending more and more time together. Some of their friends are hoping and predicting they could end up being a great couple one day.”

The two London-based music artists’ rumored romance was fueled by fans when the were spotted on social media flirting with each other.

On Instagram, Adele posted,

But the comments are what got attention, too! Skepta wrote,

“Finally got your Instagram password lol”

Skepta, a British rapper from Tottenham, North London, was also made chief of his parents home state of Ogun, Nigeria in early 2019.
