George Clooney Gave 14 Of His Closest Friends $1 Million Each

George Clooney Gifted 14 Of His Friends With $1 Million Each
We all need a friend like George Clooney! The high-profile actor revealed the reason that he gifted 14 of his close friends with $1 million dollars each in 2013.
According to one of his best friends and business partners, Rande Gerber, George Clooney invited his closest friends over to his house and surprised them each with a Tumi suitcase full of cash–$1 million to be exact.
The Ocean’s franchise actor said,
“I just thought basically if I get hit by a bus, they’re all in the will. So why the f–k am I waiting to get hit by a bus?
He further expressed,
“And I thought, what I do have are these guys who’ve all, over a period of 35 years, helped me in one way or another. I’ve slept on their couches when I was broke. They loaned me money when I was broke. They helped me when I needed help over the years. And I’ve helped them over the years. … And I thought, you know, without them I don’t have any of this.”
Rande Gerber, another business partner and Clooney were all business owners of the tequila brand, Casamigos before selling it for a jaw-dropping $1 Billion. Watch the video below on Gerber talking about the brand.
