Jeremih Transferred From ICU, On The Road To Recovering From Covid-19
According to sources, singer Jeremih, born Jeremy Phillip Felton has been transferred out of ICU and is recovering from Covid-19, just one week after news broke that he was hospitalized and put on a ventilator. Jeremih’s family confirmed the good news and also thanked everyone for their thoughts and prayers,
“Jeremih has been transferred out of ICU. He will spend the rest of his recovery time in a regular hospital room. The true healing begins. Thank you all for your prayers and wishes.”
This news comes as a relief since the last update on Jeremih’s condition. On Thursday (Nov.19), a rep for the 33-year old singer released a statement on behalf of his family, stating that he is currently on a ventilator in the ICU, after the virus “viciously attacked his body.”
“Jeremih is currently battling severe COVID-19 health complications. He’s in the ICU on a ventilator to help him breathe. The COVID-19 condition he’s experiencing is rare for a young man his age without underlying conditions”
Jeremih‘s rep adds that progress is being made with his current condition.
“The family is very grateful for everyone who is praying, and we ask for continued prayers. The family believes daily prayers to God and a great team of doctors and nurses is helping him pull through. He’s not out of the woods yet, but progress is being made. The family and friends are praying that he starts breathing on his own soon, and makes a full recovery.”
Since the news broke on Jeremih’s health condition, celebrity friends including, 50 Cent, Chance The Rapper, Big Sean and Htitmaka (Yung Berg) publicly asked for prayers for the R&B singer. Most recently, Chance The Rapper shared a heartwarming message on Twitter Wednesday night (Nov.18), thanking all the “prayer warriors” who prayed for his friend. He wrote,
“FATHER YOU GET ALL THE GLORY! JESUS THANK YOU FOR GRANTING US ACCESS TO OUR FATHER! THANK YOU TO ALL THE PRAYER WARRIORS WHO USED THEIR FAVOR TO INTERCEDE ON MY BROTHER JEREMYS BEHALF! WE COME TO HIM IN SORROW AND SO WE MUST TO COME TO HIM IN JOY! I LOVE YOU FATHER”

It’s unclear if Jeremih still has Covid-19, or how long he is expected to remain in the hospital. We are happy to hear that he is improving and is expected to recover.
Continue to keep Jeremih in your prayers!
