Keyshia Cole Reposts Cryptic Message Calling Out BET Network: All These Award Shows Have Been A Mess From The Start!
It looks like Keyshia Cole may have a subliminal message aimed atthe BET network. The 39-year-old R&B singer reposted a cryptic message about the BET awards. Keyshia took to her Instagram story to repost a message highlighting her success in the 2000’s and how she never received a BET award. The message read,
“All these award shows have been a mess from the start. Let’s talk about how Keyshia Cole had a hit show on BET for 3 seasons and 3 platinum selling number 1 albums and probably close to a dozen hit singles and didn’t even get a BET award. Keyshia performed at the BET awards 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010!! and not 1 award!! #keyshiacole”
Keyshia wrote a message on the post saying,
“This is a REPOST”

It’s unclear who initially wrote the message, but it’s safe to say, Keyshia Cole agrees! Her post received mixed emotions. Some fans came to her defense while others took jabs at her message.


Keyshia Cole dominated the music charts in the 2000’s with hits like, “I Should Have Cheated”, “Love”, “Heaven Sent”, Let It Go”, “I Remember”, and more. Her debut album, “The Way It Is” was released in 2005 and was certified gold within 17 weeks, and then platinum just eight weeks later. The album stayed on the charts for over a year, selling over 1.6 million copies. She also had a hit reality show on BET for three seasons,” Keyshia Cole: The Way It is”.
