‘The Sun’ Apologizes To Adele For Reporting Incorrect Story About Her & Chris Brown
The Sun has issued an apology after incorrectly reporting a story on Adele and Chris Brown in October. The original story said that singer Chris Brown paid a late-night visit to Adele at her London home and a source claimed he left at 2 a.m.
The publication issued the following statement online:
On 11 and 12 October we reported that Chris Brown paid a late night visit to Adele at her home in London. In fact Adele has only met Chris Brown once, at the Grammy Awards, several years ago. We accept that our article was incorrect and a breach of her privacy. We have paid damages to Adele and we apologise to her for the distress we have caused her.

Previously reported, Chris Brown was spotted in the U.K. during that time with his rumored boo, Gina Huynh, which was never confirmed.
The salacious story was published amid rumors that Adele is linked to U.K. rapper Skepta.

Adele and Chris Brown have not publicly spoken on the reports about them.
