Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck want that old thing back!
Less than two months after her split from ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been seen publicly showing each other affection after allegedly reconnecting in February.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were previously together in the early 2000s (2001-2004), engaged in 2002, and officially called it quits in 2004.
It was rumored in late April that the two were rekindling their relationship after being spotted together outside of her L.A. home.
Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez officially announced their separation April 15th, after a two-year engagement and four years of dating.
They released this statement:
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects.”
They added:
“We wish the best for each other and one another’s children.”
A source close to Jennifer Lopez told PEOPLE that she spent Memorial Day weekend in Los Angeles with Ben Affleck, and they are reportedly “slowly starting to talk about the future.”
Just the week before, the pair was seen in Miami. A source that spotted the couple told People “they were holding hands, hugging, kissing, and were very much into each other.”
The source claims,
“This is not a casual relationship. They are taking it seriously and want it to be long-lasting.”
