Quavo & NBA Star Kendrick Perkins Have Heated Exchange On Twitter: I See Quavo Still Dropping Them Trash A** Bars
Quavo recently announced Migos‘ upcoming Culture III album via Twitter–and he also reignited some beef with former NBA star Kendrick Perkins!
Initially, Quavo spoke about his upcoming album in a fairly straight-forward manner on Twitter, simply writing:
“8 Days Aways #Culture3”

A few days after his first Culture III tweet, Kendrick Perkins felt the need to express his thoughts on Quavo‘s rapping skills, tweeting:
“I see @QuavoStuntin still dropping them trash a$$ bars!!! Carry on…”

In case this sentiment feels out of the blue, it’s worth mentioning that Quavo name-dropped Kendrick Perkins in his song “F**K 12”:
“Every time your b***h phone when she workin’ (brr-brr)/ Get no playin’ time, Kendrick Perkins.”
It appears as though Kendrick Perkins still harbors some resentment towards the rapper.
Rather than ignoring Kendrick Perkins, Quavo decided to retaliate the very next day. While continuing to promote the upcoming Migos album, Quavo posted a picture of the former NBA star with a fist emoji pasted in, creating an illusion that he was being hit with an uppercut.

However, Kendrick Perkins did not let this tweet slide. Yesterday (Tuesday, June 8th), he replied to Quavo‘s post, responding:
“Thank God you’re back with the Migos because this photoshop uppercut is as close as you’ll ever get to a hit as a solo artist! Carry on…”

None of the people involved have further commented on the matter.
Migos‘ Culture III album will be released this Friday (June 11th), and they’ve recently released the album’s tracklist.
