Wale Claims He’s ‘One Of The Greatest Of All Time’ In His Announcement Of Upcoming ‘Folarin 2’ Compilation
While announcing his upcoming music, Wale was sure to give himself his flowers!
Yesterday morning (Tuesday, June 22nd), Wale took to Twitter to announce Folarin 2, which is expected to drop this summer. However, he had to give himself a shoutout before doing so! He tweeted:
“I understand you may feel how you feel for whatever [somebody] told you… but I just wanna reiterate that I’m one of the greatest of all time. Catalog. Consistency. Influence. Longevity. DMV. With that said #Folarin2 this summer. [rose emoji].”

Shortly after his tweet, we uploaded it to theJasmineBRAND‘s Instagram page. Check out how some reacted to the news below:

Wale debuted back in 2009 with his first studio album, Attention Deficit. This album spawned hits like “World Tour,” “Pretty Girls,” and “90210”–earning him a Best New Artist nomination at the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards.
Two years later, he dropped Ambition–which contained the hit song “Lotus Flower Bomb.”
Wale then released the mixtape Folarin, after which his next compilation is named. Then, in 2013, he released his third studio album, The Gifted. This album contained the hit single “Bad (Remix),” featuring Rihanna.
Since then, Wale has continued to release a series of additional albums, mixtapes, and EPs–with his latest being 2020’s The Imperfect Storm EP. However, his last studio album was 2019’s Wow… That’s Crazy, which was led by the single “On Chill.”
