Naturi Naughton: I Stand By Phylicia Rashad, “Cosby Show” Changed Lives!

Naturi Naughton is publicly supporting Phylicia Rasahd. Over the weekend, the “Power” actress posted a social media message, noting that she doesn’t agree with how black people are so quick to cancel each other, she stands with Phylicia Rashad and the ‘Cosby Show’ changed lives.

Phylicia Rashad faced some backlash for tweeting her support for Bill Cosby’s release.

She later deleted the tweet, released a statement and also apologized to Howard University students, where she is a Dean.

Bill Cosby also defended Phylicia Rashad, stating through his attorney:

“Howard University you must support ones Freedom of Speech (Ms. Rashad), which is taught or suppose to be taught everyday at that renowned law school, which resides on your campus”.
