Nelly’s Longtime Girlfriend Shantel Jackson Says Couple Has Broken Up

It’s officially over for Nelly and his longtime girlfriend Shantel Jackson.

Over the weekend, the former 37-year-old reality star revealed that she and the 46-year-old rapper had split.

She confirmed the news within the comments section of her latest Instagram post. One social media user asked her if the couple was still together, she responded:

“No we’re not ….. Just friends”. 

A representative for Nelly did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The pair have been dating since 2014. Neither have commented as to why they ended their relationship.
