Jay-Z And Chris Paul Help Raise $3 Million For Vegan Cheese Brand
Jay-Z and Chris Paul have reportedly helped Misha’s Kind Foods raise a $3 Million seed investment.
In 2019, Jay-Z became the first Hip Hop artist to join the billionaire club. This status was reached mostly through his music career but the business mogul can also credit it to his many reported investments like Impossible Foods.

The New York rapper invested in the Misha’s through his firm Marcy Venture Partners, which according to reports, also earned participation from NBA All Star, Chris Paul.

The Phoenix Sun’s player has been vegan for three years and often uses his platform to promote and support vegan businesses, particularly black and brown owned ones.
Chris Paul’s reported latest investments include Koai beverages and GoPuff, which he invested in with Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, and JaVale McGee.

With Koia, Chris Paul has committed to purchasing over 50,000 smoothies which he will donate to GoPuff, and bring vegan vending machines and smoothies to Historically Black Colleges and Universities [HBCUs].
Misha’s Kind Foods was found in 2018 by Chef Ian Martin and Aaron Bullock. Misha’s currently carries vegan cheese spreads and almond milk blends that are flavored with herbs and spices.

Misha’s will use the investment to develop new products, expand its team, and grow its retail footprint.
