Van Jones Breaks Silence On Kim Kardashian Dating Rumors: I Found It Absurd

CNN commentator Van Jones has denied that he’s dating Kim Kardashian. The two were linked together around February after Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West.

According to reports, the 52-year-old lawyer and political commentator was a mentor to Kim Kardashian while she pursued her studies to become a lawyer.  By June Kim Kardashian herself debunked the rumors on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She said on the episode, which aired June 16th,

“Van text me and was like ‘This rumor has gotten me so many dates. I’m grateful, so I owe you.'”

Now, Van Jones has responded for the first time as well. He said at the reopening of Jay-z’s 40/40 Club over the weekend,

“I’ve never made comments about the rumors of me and Kim Kardashian dating as I found it absurd.”

He went on to say,

“It was flatterring for me, but it probably wasn’t flattering for her.”

Kim has been linked to many different public figures following her divorce and so has her ex-Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian shut down rumors she’s dating singer Maluma and said during the KUWTK reunion,

“No, I’m not dating either one-not Van Jones, not Maluma, I’ve seen him a few times, always in Miami, such a nice guy. So nice.”

Most recently, Kanye West was linked to supermodel, Irina Shayk, but that seems to have fizzled out as of late. Reportedly Kim knew about the relationship for weeks.
