LeToya Luckett Lands Recurring Role In ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’
LeToya Luckett is here to stay, as she lands a recurring role on Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
Known for her vocals and hits like ‘Torn’ and ‘Regret’ throughout the years, the Destiny’s Child alum has continued to grow her acting resume.

Set in the ’90s, LeToya Luckett joins the Power universe as Kenya, the mother of Jukebox, played by Hailey Kilgore.
LeToya Luckett, who left her daughter at a very young age, returned to New York three years prior after her failed music career and is found living in Harlem.
The Houston singer joins the Power franchise following her recurring roles on OWN’s Greenleaf, Fox’s Rosewood, and HBO’s Ballers. This fall she will also return to Fox with Morris Chestnut as his opposite in the new drama Our Kind of People.

Narrated by executive producer, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, Raising Kanan, follows the life of now-deceased Kanan Stark as a teenager.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan, is the third installment and prequel to the hit show Power, which aired in 2014. Omar Dorsey (Queen Sugar) and Krystal Joy Brown (Hamilton) have been promoted to recurring roles.
