According to reports, Naomi will be,
“based on the eponymous comic book series that debuted in 2019, co-written by Brian Michael Bendis and David F. Walker, and illustrated by breakout artist Jamal Campbell.”
The main character is depicted as a black teenage girl in the comics but DC has not announced which actress will star in the role yet. Reportedly, the show will follow Naomi after a supernatural event changes her town and changes the beliefs on what we think about heroes themselves.
The DMZ series will be a 4 part drama that is,
“set in the near future when America is embroiled in civil war.”
The lead will be Sin City’s, Rosario Dawson, and she’ll be playing Alma Ortega as she goes on a difficult journey to find her son that she lost during the beginning of America’s downfall.

Both series are set to stream on HBO Max and air on the CW. The premiere dates haven’t been released yet but both shows will join other CW and HBO Max DC shows, like Stargirl, Titans, and Batwoman.
