LeBron James’ SpringHill Company Valued At $725 Million After Receiving Investments From Nike & Epic Games
LeBron James‘ entertainment company has officially been valued at $725 million thanks to some new investors!
Earlier today (Thursday, Oct. 14th), news broke that SpringHill–an entertainment company founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter–jumped to a $725 million value. This valuation comes as a result of new financing provided by notable companies like Nike and Epic Games.
With the new financing, SpringHill will launch an international expansion and work on “investing in emerging creators.” Additionally, the company will help improve the investors’ businesses as well. With Epic Games, which infamously created Fortnite, SpringHill will work to “bring unique content to the metaverse.” Regarding Nike, the entertainment company will explore “new and innovative ways to empower athletes globally to tell their stories.”
In a statement, Maverick Carter said:
“We started this company with the tagline ‘More Than an Athlete’ which still defines everything we do to this very day. We are an incredible team of athletes, artists, writers, designers, musicians, and countless other creators. With this new group of investors who are the very best in their respective industries, we are going to be able to empower our community and every creator to do their most inspiring work and achieve their most ambitious dreams.”
