Kash Doll Once Made $250,000 In A Year While Stripping & Never Took Her Bra Off: I Was The Highest-Paid Dancer In Michigan
Kash Doll has never been afraid to live her truth or speak about her past. During a recent interview with sports analyst/ retired NBA player Jalen Rose, Kash Doll (born Arkeisha Knight) shared details about what her life was like as a stripper and why she started dancing. She said,
“I tried it my first day … I was sh*tting bricks … I walked out there just nervous as ever.”
The ‘Ice Me Out’ rapper revealed she made $700 her first night as a stripper and would soon go on to make $26,000 in a single night.
“So when I see that it was possible to make a check that I’d wait two weeks for … I’m doing all this labor and getting checks with like $500 every two weeks to $700 for hours in a day.”
“Hmm. I said, ‘Oh, I’m about to stack this money up.’ I made $26,000 in one night.”
She continued and shared that she made a quarter of a million dollars that year. She also said that she became such a well-known dancer in Michigan that she eventually became the highest-paid dancer in the state.
“I just got so popular to the point that I was on flyers every week and I didn’t dance on the floor like the regular dancers. They knew when I walked onstage … it just became a thing. I was like the highest-paid dancer in Michigan. And it’s been that way for a long time and nobody really did it again.”
She then added that she never danced fully nude.
“I never took my bra off.”
