Cardi B Accuses Twitter Users Of Giving ‘Backhanded Compliments’ + Responds To Critic Who Claimed Her Daughter Has A Mental Disability: The Only One Who Has An Illness Is You!

Cardi B Accuses Twitter Users Of Giving ‘Backhanded Compliments’ + Responds To Critic Who Claimed Her Daughter Has A Mental Disability: The Only One Who Has An Illness Is You!
Cardi B has had enough of critics speaking about her daughter!
Yesterday (Wednesday, Oct. 28th), Cardi B (real name Belcalis Almánzar) addressed some of her haters in a series of tweets. The “Up” rapper initially uploaded a video of herself to Twitter, captioned:
“They gotta say other s**t but the[y] really wanna say I look the f**k good.”
It’s worth noting that, in the video, Cardi B can be heard telling an off-screen man:
“I’m a little drunk. I’m okay though, I’m okay!”

She then posted a now-deleted tweet that read:
“This post was made for the ugly b****es like you. Your ugliness don’t allow you to give a full compliment the ugly girl that you know that you are don’t allow u too [sic].”

A few hours later, Cardi B continued, tweeting:
“People on this app [would] rather give me backhanded compliments because they hate to admit that I look good.”

Cardi B then issued another now-deleted tweet where she claimed others are “always complaining about BG.” For context, “BG” stands for “Bardi Gang,” her fanbase.
“If I get on Twitter and I see you every single day complain about BG not once not twice but almost everyday [it] is clear you don’t love us. You can live, love who you like but Deum always complaining about BG? We must say goodbye.”
Notably, Cardi B also responded to one Twitter user who claimed the rapper’s three-year-old daughter, Kulture, had a mental illness. Specifically, the Twitter user initially told Cardi B:
“You such this real btch but you seem to have problems telling people what the real problem is, your daughter’s mental illness seems to be rubbing off on you.”

In response, Cardi B tweeted:
“My daughter don’t have no mental illness, learning disabilities nothing! You can’t call my kid ugly so now ya makin all these weird things about my kid. The only person who have a illness is you who have a person who talks about raping and killin their own child as a main pic.”

While it’s unclear what exactly Cardi B meant towards the end of this now-deleted tweet, it’s worth pointing out that the Twitter user appears to be an active “Barb,” or a Nicki Minaj fan.
Further research also suggests that the backlash Cardi B received yesterday (Wednesday, Oct. 27th) appears to be over her unfollowing one of her fan pages. Shortly before being unfollowed, the page made a tweet calling for peace between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj‘s ever-feuding fanbases.
