‘Atlanta’ Drops First Teaser For Season 3 After 3-Year Hiatus, Series Will Officially Return in 2022
Are you ready for season 3 of the highly anticipated series ‘Atlanta?’
FX Networks has finally dropped a trailer for season 3! The minute-long teaser comes more than 3 years since season 2 of ‘Atlanta’ ended. The first look shows what appears to be different locations, rooms, and parts of Europe, as a voiceover of people chants,
“It’s after the end of the world, don’t you know that yet?!”
The cryptic trailer wraps with actor Brian Tyree Henry’s character Alfred ‘Paper Boi’ Miles sitting at a table with two people behind him facing the opposite direction. After the final scene, the video fades to black and ‘2022’ appears on the screen, letting fans know the show will return sometime next year.
Series creator/producer/star Donald Glover, 38, took to his Twitter account, which he rarely uses, and shared a link to the trailer. He captioned the tweet,
“happy halloween [ghost emoji]”

‘Atlanta’ is a comedy/drama TV series that first premiered on Sept. 6, 2016. According to reports, even though the 3rd season has yet to be officially released, the show has already been renewed for a 4th season.
The series follows Donald Glover’s character Earnest “Earn” Marks and rapper Paper Boi, portrayed by Brian Tyree Henry, 39, as they tackle the Atlanta rap scene. It also stars Lakeith Stanfield and Zazie Beetz, both 30, as Darius Epps and Vanessa Keefer, respectively.
