Drake Impersonator Reveals He Makes $5,000 To Appear At Events + Says Rapper ‘Didn’t Really Give A F***’ About Look-Alike’s Hustle
Being a celebrity look-alike can have a pretty nice payoff!
Recently, a 22-year-old from Toronto–known as @IzzyyDrake on Instagram–appeared on the No Jumper podcast to dish on his current hustle: being a Drake impersonator, or a “fake Drake“!

During his sit-down, the Drake impersonator stated:
“People DM me like ‘Hey, you wanna come to my event? Because I can’t pay Drake, he’s too expensive. I’ll pay you $5,000’–$5,000 just to show up. They pay my Airbnb, they pay the flight. They hook it all up.”
The fake Drake, who uploaded a photo alongside Tory Lanez last month, went on to comment:
“I’ve been doing my thing. That’s all I’m gonna say.”

The celebrity impersonator then revealed that he and Drake both share a mutual friend, who claimed the artist isn’t upset about the look-alike:
“Drake was just like ‘It doesn’t bother me. It doesn’t affect me, let the guy get his bag. It isn’t affecting me.’… He didn’t really give a f**k.”
The fake Drake then added that he’s only being a celebrity impersonator for the sake of his family:
“I’m just being humble, I’m just doing my thing. I got kids–I’m doing this s**t for my family.”
He added:
“I didn’t study to become an artist. I didn’t ask for this life–it’s just like God’s plan, you know?”
