Young Dolph’s Vigil Interrupted By A Drive-By-Shooting, Suspects Later Apprehended & Charged
Three arrests have been made in connection to a drive-by-shooting at Young Dolph‘s memorial.
As previously reported, Young Dolph (real name Adolph Robert Thornton Jr.) was murdered this past Wednesday (Nov. 17th) in Memphis, Tennessee. The 36-year-old rapper was shot while inside Makeda’s Cookies–a bakery he frequented when he visited his hometown.

Yesterday afternoon (Thursday, Nov. 18th), a vigil was held for Young Dolph in front of a business next door to Makeda’s Cookies. As fans paid tribute to the “On the River” rapper, however, a drive-by-shooting occurred and resulted in one non-critical injury.
In response to the matter, officers who were already at the scene proceeded to chase down a Nissan–which was later found to be stolen. After a short while, the perpetrators crashed the car, ditched their guns, and tried to flee on foot. The three men–Terrance Jones (23), Travis McQueen (22), and Jailon Nelvis (19)–were later apprehended and booked for the drive-by. Travis McQueen is listed as the shooter.
