Jim Jones Wants To Do a Verzuz With Jadakiss: “I Don’t Like How [Jadakiss] Did That! I Want Total Smoke With Him”
Is Jim Jones looking for redemption?
After the monumental moment that was The LOX and Dipset Verzuz battle, Jim Jones, 45, calls for a one-on-one Verzuz battle against Jadakiss., 46.
On August 3rd, 2021, legendary New York rap groups, The LOX and Dipset, battled in front of a packed crowd at Madison Square Garden. In a head-to-head battle, the groups played their biggest hits, one after the other, to see which rap group’s music made the most significant/longest lasting impact.
The chaotic Verzuz was filled with yelling, name-calling, skipping turns, and legendary performances from both groups. The very “New York” Verzuz entertained those who watched as The LOX performed as if they had something to prove.
The Verzuz ended with The LOX proving themselves to be able to win over a crowd, leaving Dipset defeated in this, still talked about, battle.

However, it seems as if Dipset’s Jim Jones is still not over that loss, as he calls out The LOX’s Jadakiss for a solo battle.
In an interview with HipHopDX, Jim Jones was asked about the famous battle, where he recalled the renowned battle as:
“… a dope event overall, and it’s something I don’t think the city will ever get to witness unless we happen to do a rematch or something like that.”
When asked about his interest in rejoining the Verzuz stage, he responded:
“I would want to have a Verzuz with Jada. Solo… He has to deal with me on my terms. He better be prepared. When it comes to a top three, I don’t really have a list. I just got real smoke with Jada.”
Jim Jones also joked about his loss to The LOX, claiming he now wants smoke with Jadakiss.
“I don’t like how [Jadakiss] did that! I want total smoke with him. Anybody else is welcome, and if the setting is New York, I feel like I can hang with whoever. I got some New York shit, the city. I got that.”
Jadakiss has yet to respond to the request to battle by Jim Jones, but we’re sure that would be, yet another, battle worth watching from the two.
