Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre Seemingly Mock Janet Jackson’s 2004 Super Bowl Wardrobe Malfunction Ahead Of Their Halftime Performance: There Won’t Be Any Wardrobe Malfunctions, I Had To Talk Them Out Of Pulling Their P*nises Out
Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre joke about the most controversial halftime performance in Super Bowl history.
Legendary rap duo Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre held a press conference for their upcoming Super Bowl performance. Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige, who’s joining them on stage, was also in attendance.
The three music veterans talked about everything from their outstanding careers, Sunday’s game…and halftime performances of yesterday.
When Dr. Dre told a reporter that he wouldn’t give away any surprises, Snoop Dogg interjected:
“There won’t be any wardrobe malfunctions.”
Dre caught on to the reference and jokingly added:
“I had to talk Snoop and [Eminem] out of pulling their pen*ses out.”

Eminem will be reuniting with his colleagues for the show.

Snoop’s joke was likely a reference to Janet Jackson’s infamous wardrobe malfunction during her 2004 Super Bowl set. It’s been nearly 20 years since the incident, but the world hasn’t forgotten about the moment a young Justin Timberlake exposed Janet’s nipple on national television. The unforgettable exposé was recently covered in her new Lifetime documentary, Janet.
Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, and Eminem will take the stage on Feb. 13. Los Angeles is hosting the major face-off at SoFi stadium. Kendrick Lamar was also been advertised as a halftime act.
