Jack Harlow Secures Lead Role In “White Men Can’t Jump” Reboot Following His First Ever Acting Audition
Rapper Jack Harlow is kick starting his acting career.
Following his first ever screen audition, the 23-year-old “Nail Tech” artist locked in a starring role in the reboot of the 1992 classic film “White Men Can’t Jump”, which originally starred Wesley Snipes, Woody Harrelson, and Rosie Perez.
The films remake will feature a script written by “Blackish” creator Kenya Barris and Doug Hall, and will be a take on Ron Shelton’s original sports comedy that follows two street basketball hustlers who at first try to hustle each other, then team up for a bigger score.
Jack Harlow will reprise the role originally played by Woody Harrelson, and is said to have been offered the role immediately after his audition. Impressing the filmmakers and execs, especially Kenya Barris.
