Kanye West Petition Asks Coachella To Drop Him After Attacks On Kim Kardashian And Pete Davidson

Some people are so fed up with Kanye West and his social media antics that they’re petitioning to have him dropped from Coachella 2022. The petition was started on Change.org on March 16 amid Kanye West‘s constant attacks on his ex Kim Kardashian and her new boyfriend Pete Davidson. So far, it has been signed by over 2,000 people.

The description reads:

“We have watched Kanye harass, manipulate, and hurt Kim, Pete, and others for over a year now. No one seems to want to stand up to him, and the ones that do, he puts under fire as well. Most recently, he has been threatening actual bodily harm on others. This is ridiculous that he is allowed to freely do this. Coachella (along with other brand names that are still working with him) should be ashamed of themselves and should not be giving him any more of a platform. Please sign & share!”

It is just a few hundred signatures short of the 2,500 it is seeking.

Recently, Kanye West, 44, has used his social media to air his frustrations with Kim Kardashian, their co-parenting, and her relationship with Pete Davidson. He has also gone after anyone criticizing him for his approach to Kardashian, including D.L. Hughley. Still, Kim Kardashian has chosen to take “the high road” and keep her comments to a minimum out of respect for their children.

“I’ll always be protective. I always want my kids to just see the best of the best. So I just try to — as hard as it can be sometimes — I do try to ignore it and just try to do whatever’s best for the kids,” she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“I always saw such a good example in my mom and my dad in their relationship, so I’m always just hopeful. And no matter what goes on, [Kanye’s] the father of my kids.”

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce in February of 2021 and began dating Pete Davidson after hosting his show Saturday Night Live that October. She told Ellen DeGeneres in March that it’s so serious that Davidson has gotten multiple tattoos in honor of her, including one reading, “My girl’s a lawyer.”
