Kanye Struggling To Sell $11 Million Wyoming Estate After Deciding Not To Use The Land For Yeezy Headquarters
Rap icon Kanye West is facing a potentially huge financial loss.
Recent reports state that the 44-year-old Yeezy brand owner can’t find a buyer for his costly Wyoming mansion. Reportedly, Kanye West purchased the land back in 2019 before putting it up for sale just two years later.
The Donda artist reportedly planned to use the space, located in Cody, Wyoming, as a new HQ for his billion dollar Yeezy brand. However, reports state that Kanye has seemingly thrown out that plan, putting several of the properties he purchased there on the market. Kanye held several recordings for his famous Sunday Service in the town that has a population of less than 10,000. The Gospel music group most recently began touring and performing at different locations across the world.

With almost 4,000 square footage of land, Kanye reportedly added equipment sheds, equine facilities, a lodge, and a go-kart track to compliment the two lakes the property sits on. Realtors responsible for the sale of the plot claim that despite having thousands of interest phone calls, there have been no definitive buyers.

The location also has some sentimental value to the business mogul. Prior to his ongoing divorce, Kanye spent his eldest daughter North West’s seventh birthday at the property with his then wife, Kim Kardashian and the rest of the West children, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Reports state that Cody officials are unsatisfied with the Kanye after the rap star allegedly promised to bring more jobs and opportunity to the rural town. Cody’s mayor Matt Hall was quoted saying:
“West promised to bring dozens of jobs to Cody and to employ a local workforce, [but] no more than a handful of residents fulfilled design jobs for him.”
Kanye has not spoken publicly about the land nor his business in Cody as of late.
