Afrobeats artist Burna Boy is making a surprising revelation about his song “Last Last.”
During a recent interview, the Nigerian artist talked about his rise to fame, family life, and his single “Last Last.” Burna Boy, 31, (born Damini Ogulu) also talked about why he wanted to sample Toni Braxton’s 2000 hit song, “He Wasn’t Man Enough” for his track. He explained,
“It was actually my idea, to be honest. I always wanted to use that sample and I knew Chopstix [his producer] could do something crazy with it. I just pointed that sh-t out and he took it from there. That’s one of the most special creative processes ever, but she is taking 60 percent of the sh*t.”
