Lil Baby’s first studio album, “Harder Than Ever,” debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 chart. And his second album, “My Turn,” debuted at number one, where it stayed for five weeks.

Being as popular as he is, it should probably come as no surprise that the “Live Off My Closet” rapper is the inspiration for many new artists. Recently, an up-and-coming rapper named Lil Man J has been getting a lot of attention for sounding like Lil Baby. The South Carolina rapper, who is a white teenager, released a song entitled “Cap Freestyle” that has some people wondering why he sounds so much like Lil Baby.
The Lil Baby comparisons must be nothing new for Lil Man J, as he addressed the claims in his now-viral song and raps
“Trying to be black, I’m as white as can be/ I’m the white Lil Baby, no one harder than me.”
It seems like Lil Baby has heard the track and isn’t too pleased with it. He recently commented under an IG post with the music video and said,
“Is this a joke or he serious?”

Social media users weighed in on the track as well:
