Boxing Legend George Foreman Accuses Women Of Making ‘Baseless’ Sexual Abuse Claims In Plot To Extort Him Out Of $25 Million

Boxing Legend George Foreman Accuses Women Of Making ‘Baseless’ Sexual Abuse Claims In Plot To Extort Him Out Of $25 Million
George Foreman is gearing up for a totally different kind of fight.
According to reports, two women are planning to file a lawsuit accusing the boxing legend of sexually abusing them in the 1970s. The women were linked to George Foreman through their fathers, who reportedly had a friendship and business relationship with him decades ago.
George Foreman said the ladies have been attempting to coerce millions of dollars from him and his family after “falsely claiming” he sexually abused them more than 45 years ago. They’re reportedly asking for $12.5 million each.
According to Foreman,
“I adamantly and categorically deny these allegations. The pride I take in my reputation means as much to me as my sports accomplishments, and I will not be intimidated by baseless threats and lies.”
He continued,
“I am, and always will be, guided by my faith and trust in God. I will work with my lawyers to fully and truthfully expose my accusers’ scheme and defend myself in court. I don’t pick fights, but I don’t run away from them either.”
Foreman, an Olympic gold medalist, rose through the heavyweight ranks of boxing to win the title of world champion in 1973. He made a comeback to the ring at the age of 45 and went on to win the world title a second time before starting a lucrative post-boxing career as a pitchman and businessman. Today, he is best known for the George Foreman Grill, of which he has sold over 100 million units.
He reportedly has a net worth of $300 million, which he believes is the key factor at the center of the women’s “coordinated extortion plot.”
