Swae Lee Files For Joint Custody Of 1-Year-Old Daughter

Rapper Swae Lee is seeking joint custody of his one-year-old daughter, whom he shares with Brazilian model Aline Martins.

According to legal documents, Swae Lee had a daughter back in 2020 with Aline Martins. He reportedly filed in July and will ask for 50/50 custody of 1-year-old Angel.According to sources close to the matter, the Rae Sremmurd member’s motivation for going to court is that he wants a real relationship with his daughter, and that includes sleeping at his home and spending significant time with her. He also wants a holiday schedule. Sources say the reason for filing court documents is to set the ground rules before any problems surface.

In an interview last year, Aline Martins opened up about her ex’s relationship with their daughter, saying,

“I would like him to give love and be a present father, but I won’t be humiliating myself either. I think my daughter doesn’t deserve that.”

According to reports, Swae has been paying Aline money for their child, however, she claimed last year that she had accumulated $15,000 in debt from expenses, prenatal care, and rent.

The rapper’s lawyer, Samantha Spector, had this to say about the situation.

“Swae takes his role as a father very seriously. He’s absolutely committed to sharing parenting responsibilities to give his daughter a healthy and loving upbringing.”

Ironically enough, this news comes just weeks after Swae’s current girlfriend Victoria Kristine announced that the pair is expecting their first child together. She took to social media and shared pictures and videos from their safari-themed baby shower last month.
