LeBron James’ 2013 Finals Game 7 Jersey Expected To Sell For Over $3 Million In Upcoming Auction

Would you spend millions to get a Jersey once worn by your fav athlete?

Well, it looks like fans of LeBron James are more than willing to give over some serious coins for his old threads. According to reports, Sotheby’s Auction is gearing up to sell off LeBron James’ Heat jersey from Game 7 that he proudly wore during the classic 2013 series against the Spurs.

LeBron James sported the number 6 on his red and white gear as he led Miami Heat to a 95-88 victory. The billionaire athlete scored 37 points on 12-of-23 shooting while also securing 12 rebounds. LeBron didn’t just have a great game that night, but overall, an amazing series! The NBA forward, who now suits up for the Los Angeles Lakers, went on to earn the NBA Finals MVP honors for his performance throughout the series as he reportedly averaged 25.3 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 7.0 assists.

While speaking on the auction, Sotheby’s officials said, the jersey, which is expected to sell for $3 million or more, is “the most valuable LeBron James jersey to ever be offered at auction and among the most valuable jerseys of all time.”

Sotheby’s officials added,

“This game ranks as one of the most important performances of LeBron’s career, during what has been widely debated as his greatest NBA season.”

The auction is set to take place next month.

LeBron isn’t the only NBA icon sports fans are willing to drop millions over. As previously reported, Michael Jordan set a record a few months ago when his jersey from Game 1 of the 1998 NBA Finals sold for $10.1 million dollars in a Sotheby’s auction.
