Unfortunate news following a French Montana video shoot in Miami.
According to reports, 10 people including rapper Rob49 were shot outside of a Miami Gardens restaurant on Thursday night (Jan. 5) amid the filming of a French Montana, 38, music video. Shots rang off around 8 p.m. in the parking lot of The Licking, a soul food restaurant off Northwest 27th Avenue and 177th Street. Witnesses claim that French Montana, real name Karim Kharbouch, was rapping when the incident unfolded.
A graphic video of the shootings aftermath appeared on social media showing victims lying on a bloodied sidewalk as first responders and other witnesses tried to assist. In the background a woman can be heard screaming:

According to sources, Rob49’s, 24, bodyguard is currently in critical condition. At least four victims required air rescue and were flown to the nearest hospital while other victims drove themselves. Diana Gorgue, Miami Gardens detective, said:
“We’re still working. There’s multiple shots, there’s multiple cases.”
Witness Ced Mogul said the shooting happened after someone in the crowd was robbed of his watch. Recalling the amount of shots he heard, Ced Mogul shared:
“It was like at least 13, 14, 15 gunshots. It was very rapid, it sounded like an assault rifle.”
He added:
“I took off running, and I was looking back, but I was like, ‘You know what? Let me just duck first,’ and then people started asking me, you know, ‘Can you help me?’ When I realized people were asking for help, there was nothing you could do about it when you got shot.”
Fans are saddened by the news being that Rob49 was set to perform in Houston tomorrow (Jan. 7) during Future’s tour, according to his Instagram. Underneath the flyer in which he promoted the concert, fans flooded the comments with their well wishes to the artist.
