‘RHOSLC’ Star Jen Shah Ordered To Enter Mental Health Program & Undergo Drug Tests After Completing 6-Year Prison Sentence For Wire Fraud
A lengthy jail stay is only the beginning of reality star Jen Shah’s sentencing.
According to reports, the “Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City” cast member has been ordered to enroll in a mental health treatment program after she’s completed her time behind bars.

Earlier this month, the Bravo entertainer was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison after pleading guilty to participating in a telemarketing scheme. Reportedly Shah, 49, targeted and scammed millions of dollars from (mostly) elderly individuals, and was ordered to additionally forfeit $6,500,000, luxury and counterfeit luxury items, and pay $6,645,251 in restitution. While the entertainer initially maintained her innocence and declared intentions to “fight” the case, Shah eventually switched things up. Her stance may have changed after news broke that she was initially facing a possible 14 years in prison and a $9 million restitution payment.
Along with the financial obligations, Shah will also be on a five-year supervised probation after she’s released from jail. During this time, the TV star will reportedly be receiving ongoing mental health treatment. The report notes that Shah has been ordered to continue taking her prescribed medication unless told otherwise by her medical professional. Shah was reportedly remorseful and apologetic to her family and victims during the sentencing. She said, “with the proper medication I can now see what happened.” She added:
“I am sorry. My actions have hurt innocent people.”

Reportedly, Shah’s probation officer must approve the program she will attend. Additionally, the entertainer will be subjected to “at least” three drug tests after her release. The socialite will also be paying back restitution owed after her jail time in the amount of 15 percent of her gross income.
