Gunna Impersonator Harassed By Fans Over Snitching Allegations Surrounding The Rapper
Fans caught up with Gunna’s look-alike and let the “rapper” know how they really feel about him.
As you may already know, Gunna has been a hot topic since his release from prison as many people have accused him of snitching on his former YSL associates for freedom. Well, it seems like some still feel some type of way about the allegations.
On Tuesday (Feb. 14) a TikTok user and his friends went to the mall with a Gunna impersonator and things didn’t go too well. In the footage, it didn’t take long for a crowd of critics to form around the rapper look-alike. Many of the people following the fake Gunna throughout the mall screamed at him and called him “ugly” and a “snitch.”
In addition, the crowd also shouted “free Young Thug,” while some just wanted a picture with (fake) Gunna. However, Gunna’s impersonator and his team kept their heads down and swiftly walked through the crowd.
Gunna seemingly laughed off the incident that occurred between his fans and his impersonator. Following the release of the TikTok he took to his Instagram story and shared three laughing emojis.
As previously reported, last year Gunna and fellow rapper Young Thug were among 28 members of the alleged criminal street gang YSL who were charged in a 56-count Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) indictment.
Gunna ultimately entered a negotiated plea, also known as an Alford plea, in which he pleaded guilty on one charge because it was in his best interest while maintaining his innocence on the same charge. The 29-year-old was sentenced to five years behind bars, with one year commuted to time served. The rapper’s four-year remaining balance on his sentence has been axed and subjected to special conditions, including completing 500 hours of community service.
Since his release, many have speculated that Gunna snitched on Young Thug for his freedom. As previously reported, fans noticed Atlanta rapper Lil Baby, 28, unfollowed Gunna on Instagram, allegedly due to the snitching allegations. This was shocking being that the artists have a long history of working together. Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ve heard their 2018 joint album “Drip Harder.” They earned a diamond plaque for the project’s single “Drip Too Hard.”
