Ice Spice Allegedly Denies Rumors That She’s Dating Lil Tjay After The Rapper Gifts Her A $150,000 Watch For Valentine’s Day

Well, it looks like Ice Spice still hasn’t found her “Gangsta Boo” — despite the speculation of it being fellow rapper Lil Tjay!

If you hadn’t heard, Lil Tjay iced “Munch” rapstress Ice Spice out with a Richard Millie watch (valued at around $150,000) on Valentine’s Day.

Following the unveiling of the expensively-designed gift, which was shared by celebrity gemologist Benny The Jeweler, rumors of Lil Tjay and Ice Spice possibly dating hit the internet and sparked quite a controversy.

However, reportedly, Spice has since made it clear that the only thing between the Bronx-born lyricists is a record, not a romance!

According to sources close to Spice, her “Gangsta Boo” collaborator’s over-the-top gesture was nothing more than a friend celebrating their song reaching Billboard Hot 100.

Of course, Spice’s justification is raising the eyebrows of many, considering the fact that the rhyming duo was just spotted handing out Turkeys together in their hood…this past November.

But…in a previous interview, the 23-year-old stated that love (seemingly) wasn’t necessarily on her radar at the moment — and certainly not with her buddy, Tjay.

When speaking of grabbing the 21-year-old for her “Like..?” EP track, Spice said:

“I wanted it to be a real genuine collab. You feel me? [Tjay and I have] been friends since last year, so I was just like, yeah, who better than him? We both from the Bronx.”

She continued, expanding on the meaning behind the chart-topper and her personal-life plans:

“I never been with a gangster, but I like good boys and girls.”

Spice added,

“I just want to play. I be even having to struggle to find time for myself, really. So, how I’m going to find time for somebody else? Even for family and friends, and myself, I’m still like that. [The] little bit of time that I be having on the side is for them and me. N*ggas come last.”

Additionally, when vaguely asked ” who got her smiling” these days, Spice simply responded to a fan:

“god.”

Spice and Tjay have yet to publicly address the recent talks of the two being an item.
