Tory Lanez Demands ‘Love & Hip Hop’ Star Prince Sit For Deposition In Assault Battle

Tory Lanez wants Love & Hip Hop star Prince to sit for a deposition.

Reportedly, Tory Lanez wants Prince to be questioned in court about his recent accusations. According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the rapper’s attorneys asked a Miami judge to force Prince to appear for a deposition.

As previously reported, reality TV star Prince claimed that Tory Lanez and his entourage physically assaulted him while inside LIV Nightclub. Allegedly, the 2019 attack occurred due to a misunderstanding involving a record. Prince claimed he suffered “blunt trauma” to his neck, chest, and back.

Then in 2020, Prince said he had another encounter with Lanez at Vendome Nightclub. Tory allegedly attacked Prince again and punched him in the face before running outside to a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van and fleeing the scene.

Lanez argued his actions were done in self-defense and moved to dismiss the lawsuit.

In January, Prince asked a court to throw out an alleged settlement he signed with Tory Lanez, claiming he was forced to sign it at a meeting where Lanez’s associate had a gun. According to court documents, Prince wants a court to reject the settlement that Tory Lanez asked to be enforced.

In the filing, Prince said,

“[Lanez] presented me with a document that he drafted himself and ordered that I sign the agreement. He told me not to contact my lawyer when I told him I needed my lawyer to review the agreement.”

He continued,

“This individual is the same individual who was ordered by [Lanez] to attack me at the Vendome nightclub and he did so. I cannot share his identity at this time as this individual threatened me that if I mention his name I would be severely injured or even killed. This individual was in possession of a firearm which was visible at the meeting.”

Now, the rapper wants Prince to sit for a deposition to answer questions under oath.

The judge has yet to rule.
